The College of Europe has learned with sadness about the passing away of Professor Jean-Paul ABRAHAM, a leading European economist, who made a substantial contribution both to the teaching and the further development of the College’s European Economic Studies programme for over two decades. He was an alumnus of the College (Erasmus Promotion 1953-54) and received the distinction of Honorary Professor when he left in 1984.
