Professional training course on energy at the College of Europe

This summer, the College of Europe Development Office will launch the first edition of the Energy Union Summer School – a new course, part of the yearly Executive Education offer of the College. This two-week interactive training course, running from 27 June to 8 July, will give participants a comprehensive view of the europolitics of energy.

Through lectures, case studies, exercises, and study visits, it will focus on the Energy Union and its various aspects vis-à-vis different policy areas and sectors, ranging from energy consumption and renewables to transport, climate, research and innovation.

The Energy Union Summer School targets professionals working directly or indirectly in the field of energy and climate change, coming from the private, non-governmental and public sectors. They will have the opportunity to interact among themselves and with the high-level trainers, including academics, practitioners, and officials of the EU institutions.
