Professor Alan Henrikson, Fulbright Chair in US-EU Relations at the College of Europe, spoke on "The American Foreign Policy Apparatus" at the European Parliament

Professor Alan Henrikson, Fulbright Chair in US-EU Relations at the College of Europe during the academic year 2010-2011, spoke on "The American Foreign Policy Apparatus" at the European Parliament in Brussels on 17 September in a panel titled "Washington 101: A Crash Course on the US Government for the EP".

This was part of a programme, "Relations EP - U.S. Congress: Highlights and Pitfalls", presented by EP official Morag Donaldson for other Staff Members of the European Parliament, which has recently established a Liaison Office in Washington, DC.

Other members of the panel were: Michael Dodman, Economic Counselor, US Mission to the European Union; Tyson Barker, Senior Project Manager, Trans-Atlantic Relations, Bertelsmann Foundation; and Teri Schultz, freelance reporter and EU Correspondent, moderator.
