Professor Dr Xosé M. NÚÑEZ SEIXAS holds a special seminar at the Natolin campus

Professor Dr Xosé M. NÚÑEZ SEIXAS is welcomed by the Natolin campus of the College of Europe in February 2014. As a visiting professor affiliated to the EP Geremek European Civilization Chair, he will teach a special seminar on history titled "Nationality Questions in Europe after the Second World War: A Comparative and Transnational Perspective". The seminar is open to all students of the Natolin campus, as well as to external participants.

         

Professor Dr Xosé M. NÚÑEZ SEIXAS studied History at the University of Santiago de Compostela and at the University of Dijon and obtained his Ph.D. in History at the European University in Florence (1992). He previously held positions as lecturer and professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Since 2012, he is the Chairholder of European History at  Ludwig-Maximilian University, where he teaches and conducts research in the field of the nationality question during the 19th and 20th century.
