Professor Tobias SCHUMACHER will be editing "The Routledge Handbook on the European Neighbourhood Policy"

Professor Tobias SCHUMACHER, Chairholder of the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe, together with Dr Andreas MARCHETTI (ZEI, Bonn University) and Prof. Dr Thomas DEMMELHUBER (University of Hildesheim) was commissioned by Routledge to edit The Routledge Handbook on the European Neighbourhood Policy.

This authoritative handbook is destined to gather the most respected and insightful voices to address key issues related to conceptual, methodological, theoretical and empirical aspects in the EU’s neighbourhood policy framework. The volume, due in 2016, is structured into seven sections and 48 chapters, synthesizing the most important themes in ENP research, such as theory and conceptualization, the neighbourhood as evolving borderlands, the ENP and EU foreign and security policy, bilateral relations and conflicts in the neighbourhood, sectorial cooperation, and the promotion of EU values and norms through the ENP.

It will address some recent trends and developments in the broader EU-neighbourhood dynamic, focus on future perspectives, and it will also include contributions from EU policymakers closely involved in the current debate about the future of the ENP and the neighbourhood itself.
