The Rector has been invited by the Chinese Scholarship Council to come to Beijing for the signing of a scholarship agreement between the Council and the College in the context of the EU-China High Level People-to-People Dialogue. During his visit from 2 until 6 September 2014 he will have meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Education and the EU Delegation to China, the China Foreign Affairs University, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), the Chinese Academy of Governance, the universities of Fudan, Renmin and Sichuan. A working dinner has also been arranged with Minister CAI Mingzho from the China State Council Information Office. Furthermore, he will be participating in a College Alumni event in Beijing.
