From May 1 till May 4, rector Paul DEMARET was in Turkey to act as one of the members of the selection committee for Turkish candidates who wish to study at the College of Europe in the academic year 2013-2014.
On May 2nd the Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen BAGIS organized an official diner in Istanbul with the representatives of the College and the Turkish firms and NGO’s sponsoring the 19 scholarships for Turkish citizens to study at the College of Europe.
On that occasion, Minister BAGIS answered questions concerning the state of Turkey-EU relations and the rector thanked Minister BAGIS and the Turkish sponsors who have made that very substantial scholarship programme possible.
