The College of Europe Development Office is proud to announce that it has been awarded several framework contracts (FWC) funded by the European Union. These framework contracts provide short-term expertise in various fields and areas relevant to the European Union and its partner countries.
In particular, the European Commission Policy Support Facility supports the evolving policy agenda with EU partner countries on a wide range of issues arising from the ‘Europe 2020’ strategy and beyond. The College of Europe has been awarded the Lot 4 of this FWC, which aims at providing quick, effective and targeted responses in the field of market access and trade and investment negotiation and implementation.
Additionally, the College of Europe has been awarded the framework contract COM 2015 funded by EuropeAid for the provision of long-term and short-term expertise for the purpose of communication and training activities in favour of the European Commission services, the EEAS and the countries benefiting from EU external aid (Lot 2). The College has been providing the same services under the previous contract COM 2011. More
Another framework contract that the College of Europe has been awarded is one for the supply of assessment, evaluation and evaluation-related services in the policy areas under the responsibility of DG Justice and Consumers. More
Finally, the College of Europe will provide external expertise to the European Parliament in the areas of judicial cooperation in civil matters, including procedural law and private international law, intellectually property law and administrative law, including the law of administrative procedure. Though this framework contract, expertise will be provided in the form of briefings and studies, and delivered upon ad hoc requests within a limited and defined timeframe. More
All these contracts are implemented within several consortia with other prominent European companies and institutes, strengthening the network of the College of Europe and reinforcing its position as leading provider of EU-related services.
