The week from 28 May to 1 June 2018 was a busy one for the College of Europe Development Office as four events on EU–Peru relations were organized in Lima:
- A five-day seminar for students of the Diplomatic Academy of Peru – Javier Pérez de Cuéllar, "The European Union — Functioning and relations with Peru: Understanding the EU, its institutions and its foreign policy";
- A workshop on "Civil society in the EU: The agenda setting" with professors and researchers from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Perú - PUCP;
- A meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru to exchange views and analyze the challenges and new opportunities between the European Union and Latin America;
- And a conference organized by the PUCP on "The strategic partnership: Understanding the European policy in Latin America".
These activities have been made possible thanks to the European Union funded project “EU Public Diplomacy in Latin America”, managed and implemented by the Organisation of Ibero-American States.
