On Wednesday, 4 September 2019, the College of Europe in Natolin celebrated the start of the academic year 2019-2020 with the students of the Hannah Arendt Promotion.

The day began with a welcome address by the Vice-Rector, Mrs Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA, followed by an informal community gathering. Then, Mr Tomáš TATINEC, Head of the Academic Administration, presented the design of the academic year.

Students were introduced to the European Interdisciplinary Studies programme by Professor Pascaline WINAND, Director of Studies, Professor Richard BUTTERWICK-PAWLIKOWSKI, Chairholder of the European Civilization Chair, and Professor Tobias SCHUMACHER, Chairholder of the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair.

The extracurricular programme was presented by Dr Marta WOJAKOWSKA, Head of Languages and Intercultural Dialogue, Mr Mattia FILIPPIN, Head of Communications, Marketing and Recruitment, Mr Łukasz DOBROMIRSKI, Head of Community and Professional Development, and Dr Barbara BOBROWICZ, Coordinator for Development and Innovation.

Later, students and staff took a family picture in front of the Natolin Library and were invited to a lunch held by the Vice-Rector in the Natolin Gardens. The activities ended in the afternoon with two presentations concerning life on campus.
