On Friday 17 October, ten students from the College of Europe Bruges campus, accompanied by two members of the Student affairs office, took part of the Light Front in Niewpoort. Gathering more than 8000 participants, this ceremony was recreating the front line as it existed at the time of the ceasefire in the autumn of 1914 after the flooding of the plains end of October. All Students were proud to participate at this commemoration in a good atmosphere.
