Students from the Bruges campus of the College of Europe had the opportunity to visit NATO's headquarters in Brussels on 8 March 2016 as well as NATO's Supreme Headquarters of the Allied Powers in Europe (SHAPE) in Mons on 22 March 2016. Both visits were organized by Fulbright Professor Zachary SELDEN who teaches this semester a course on EU-NATO relations in the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies. In Brussels Mr Eric POVEL, Public Diplomacy Division, briefed them on NATO’s current political agenda, while Mr Robert PSZCZEL, NATO Information Office in Moscow, focused on NATO and the Russia-Ukraine crisis. At SHAPE, students attended a presentation by LCDR Gwennan LE LIDEC and discussed current issues of European and global security with NATO officials.
