Study trip of the EU International Relations and Diplomacy students to Geneva, the European hub of multilateral diplomacy

From 1 to 5 March 2020 the students of the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies visited Geneva, the European headquarters of the United Nations and home of many other international and non-governmental organisations and think tanks. They participated in high-level lectures and debates on various aspects of multilateral diplomacy at the United Nations Palais des Nations, at the World Trade Organisation, at the EU Delegation to the UN and EU Mission to the WTO and at DiploFoundation. Students could also choose to visit the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, Handicap International and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. The study trip benefited from support of the Swiss Mission to the UN and Genève internationale. It also included a fondue dinner and a networking evening with Geneva-based alumni of the College of Europe.
