Success of EUROPEAN HORIZONS student think tank at the College of Europe

After a great beginning in 2014, the academic year of 2015-2016 saw the success of European Horizons at the College of Europe, Bruges campus. 2015 saw the first ever chapter of European Horizons student think tank at the College under the guidance of Academic Assistant Kate MCKEON, with five members from across the College's Department of Europan Legal Studies and the Department of European Political and Administrative Studies. In November 2015, the first ever college event took place with an inter-student debate, between members of the European Horizons chapter and the College debate club, Europe Outside the Box. This event was chaired by Mr Gibran WATFE of the Department of European Economic Studies. Thank you to all who attended. In February 2016, the chapter had the pleasure to send two members of the College community to the European Student Conference at Yale University. Thank you to Benjamin THOM and Yuri VAN LOON for their committment. Thank you to Benjamin also for his excellent insights into the British referendum on membership of the EU!

The College of Europe Horizons chapter, under the guidance of Academic Advisor Professor Michele CHANG, looks forward to continued partnership in the future. Watch this space!
