Ten students of the Veil Promotion attended the kickoff of the European Health Parliament in Brussels

On Tuesday 3 October 2017, the third edition of the European Health Parliament kicked off in Brussels.

What is the European Health Parliament? This ambitious project aims at connecting innovative spirits both from the professional healthcare area and from the College of Europe. In addition to our ten College of Europe students, there are forty other participants working in the European Parliament and the European Commission, as well as in NGOs, trade associations, industry, hospitals, and patients’ organisations in the Brussels area. All will regularly meet in order to draft policy recommendations, which will be published in mid-2018.

The event was attended by a delegation of 10 College of Europe students from the Department of European Political and Governance Studies, who will participate in this edition and work on topics such as Outcomes-based Healthcare Systems, Robotics & Precision Medicine, Antimicrobial Resistance, Health Workforce Planning and a European Vaccine Initiative.

The College students involved this year are Arman BASURTO, Artur BRUS, Niccolò COLOMBO, Bastian DE MONTE, Sonia LOPEZ, Annamaria METZ, Farida MUSAYEVA, Larysa NYKOLYN, Matteo PEDRALLI and Alice PIGNACCA.
