Professor Tobias SCHUMACHER, Chairholder of the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe, has just published an article, entitled "Letter from Tbilisi" on the digital commons openDemocracy.
The article – which can be accessed here – is a critical account of the recent political developments in Georgia and is a timely reminder that the EU, suffering from a considerable legitimacy crisis and struggling to pursue a meaningful neighbourhood and conflict resolution policy in its ‘near abroad’, must not turn a blind eye to the South Caucasus.
