Training for EU staff in the field of negotiation

The College of Europe Development Office is providing consultancy services to support the learning and development of staff employed by the institutions, agencies and bodies of the European Union in the field of negotiation. These activities are implemented under a four-year contract ending in March 2020 and in the framework of a consortium led by ESSEC IRENE.

Recent training services delivered by the College of Europe include modules on:

  • Negotiation skills: how to prepare, implement, and debrief a negotiation strategy; how to communicate effectively; how to be creative in developing solutions and/or alternatives; how to overcome the different obstacles and/or stalemates, etc.
     
  • International negotiations which focuses on building skills to negotiate arrangements with third countries outside the EU.
