The College of Europe Development Office organized a series of workshops in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo in November 2019 in the framework of the project "EU Public Diplomacy – South America".
The workshops were hosted by the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Rio de Janeiro and by the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) in Sao Paolo.
The first workshops consisted of exercises on EU negotiations in the area of trade during which participants had the chance to enhance their negotiation skills and increase their understanding of the EU decision-making process. The other workshops looked into "The long and winding road towards the EU-Mercosur Free Trade Agreement".
The project is funded by the EU and managed by the Organization of Ibero-American States.
