The College of Europe was honoured to welcome Mr Wopke HOEKSTRA, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in Bruges on Monday, 20 February 2023.
The visit followed the recent establishment of a new funding scheme for future Dutch students at the College of Europe.
Twelve months after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, our distinguished guest delivered a speech on 'Building a Secure European Future’, followed by a Q&A session with the students of the David Sassoli Promotion 2022-23 and the participants of the pilot programme of the European Diplomatic Academy. The event was moderated by Rector Federica Mogherini.
