Job Vacancy – Student & Alumni Information Officer at the College of Europe, Natolin campus (Warsaw)

The College of Europe is seeking applications for the position of full-time Student & Alumni Information Officer with a starting date of 16 June 2014 at the latest.

 

Objective:

To provide a single point of contact for essential information for prospective, admitted and current students as well as alumni. Working as a staff resource for: Academic Administration, Communications Service and Student Affairs.

 

We are looking for graduates with:

  • a bachelor’s degree;

  • excellent knowledge of English, French and Polish, both spoken and written;

  • computer literacy, very good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; other IT skills would be welcome (e.g. experience of using intranet systems);

  • experience of a frontline customer service role (2 years);

  • evidence of highly attuned organisation skills;

  • a track record of performing under pressure;

  • ability to work autonomously and as a team member;

  • high sense of responsibility and initiative;

  • attention to detail;

  • experience of work in multi-cultural environments;

  • good person to person skills and telephone manner;

  • interest in the objectives of the College.

     

Tasks include:

  • coordinating the admissions process with the Academic Administration;

  • acting as the link to admitted students and prospective students giving support and fast answer (French and English);

  • preparation of students’ pre-arrival information;

  • proactively developing a pre-arrival intranet service and other information products for prospective and admitted students;

  • providing an information service for current students, working with the Communications Service and with Student Affairs, including active management of the Natolin intranet pages;

  • acting as the main contact point in Alumni relations for the Natolin Campus;

  • collaborating with other services and employees.
