The Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe organises a specialised French course for Master students, French for International Relations.

Intensive courses from 7 until 25 August 2017.

Registration

Registrations need to be completed before 8 July 2017:

  • Before all registrations, an online test is obligatory.
  • To obtain the address for the test, send a mail to masters [at] alliancefr.be.
  • Groups will be created depending on the test results.*

* classes are created in function of the number of registered students (minimum 5 persons). Management reserve the right to reorganise classes depending on the number of registered students and their level.

Level A1 and A2

For level A1 and A2 students, the Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe offers standard courses in order to improve your level of French.

Courses – Levels B1, B2 and C1

Come and improve your French for European and International Relations at the Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe, at the heart of the European quarter.
To know your level in French, please take our online test (option « Master »)


Target public

Future and former students of the College of Europe (Bruges and Natolin), trainees at the European Institutions, European diplomats and civil servants, journalists, interpreters, all those involved in/or interested in European and International Relations.

 

Course objectives

  • Improving oral expression (debates, meetings, presentations)
  • Effective professional writing (letters, mails)
  • Understanding Francophone media (written press, radio, documentations, speeches, etc.)
  • Grammatical consolidation
  • Vocabulary development specific to the area  of European and International Relations

Content

  • French for diplomacy, academic purpose, professional purpose
  • Programmes adapted to the CEFR *
  • Quality courses adapted to the needs of the group
  • Current affairs focus using European and International Themes
  • Professional simulations and role play
  • Introduction to legal terminology (3h)

Calendar and fees

  • Intensive courses of 3 weeks from 7 to 25 August 2017.
  • From Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 15:30; Friday from 9:00 tot 12:00
  • Fee: 820€ for 70 hours courses (including registration and materials fee)** - Lodging not included ***

** If a cancellation occurs after 8 July, 100€ will be retained for administration costs.
