On Wednesday, 19 December 2018, the Natolin campus of the College of Europe celebrated the end of the first semester of the academic year 2018-2019 and the beginning of the holiday festivities.
On this occasion, a traditional Polish Christmas dinner, known as Wigilia, was offered by the Vice-Rector, Mrs Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA, to the students of the Manuel Marín Promotion. The Rector of the College of Europe, Professor Dr Dr Jörg MONAR was also present and gave his end of semester address.
The event was attended by a very special guest—Dr Rafał TRZASKOWSKI, Mayor of Warsaw and Natolin alumnus of the Alexis de Tocqueville Promotion (1996-1997).
The singing of Christmas carols in several European languages was led by the Natolin Student Choir.
