Dr Andriy TYUSHKA, Research Fellow in the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin campus of the College of Europe, published an article in the journal Athenaeum: Polish Political Science Studies on the concept of "international role" in International Relations and Foreign Policy Analysis theory and practice.
The article problematizes the conceptualization, operationalization and use of the terms like international role and actorness, both within the "role theory" and the offered PIPP-analytical model that draws on the embedded notions of "power", "influence", "presence" and "performance" within a holistic framework analysis.
