In the framework of the EU-funded project European Leadership in Cultural, Science and Innovation Diplomacy (EL-CSID), the staff of the European General Studies Programme recently carried out the following activities:
- An EL-CSID Working Paper on "Assessing the Effectiveness of the EU's and Russia's Cultural Diplomacy towards Central Asia" was written by Domenico VALENZA (CoE/UNU-CRIS) and Elke BOERS (UNU-CRIS) and published by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. The work can be downloaded here.
- Riccardo TROBBIANI (CoE/UNU-CRIS) joined the works of the EUNIC regional cluster meeting in the Neighbourhood South and delivered a presentation on the topic of EU-MENA cultural relations at the seminar "Cultural Relations at Work: Supporting culture as an engine for sustainable social and economic development in the EU Neighbourhood South", 19-20 and 21-22 February 2018, Instituto Cervantes, Rabat, Morocco.
The EL-CSID project analyses the relevance of cultural, science and innovation diplomacy for EU external relations, locating developments in these fields in the evolving global context.
