GCLC Best Thesis Award

After delivering the opening address of the Global Competition Law Centre's (GCLC) 11th Annual Conference on 1 February 2016, Commissioner VESTAGER presented to two alumni of the College of Europe the 2014 and 2015 GCLC Best Thesis Award. The prize is awarded to the best paper in competition law or economics. The 2014 award went to Mr Paul DODELLER for his thesis “Aides d’État et financement public d’infrastructures: pour l’édification de fondations solides” (with Professor MEROLA). Mr Alexander K PASCALL was awarded the 2015 prize for his paper “Tail Wagging the Dog: The Manipulation of Benchmark Rates. A Competitive Bone of Contention” (with Professor COPPI). All our congratulations to both.
