Promotion scholarship fund

Approximately 70% of College of Europe students have up to the present been granted scholarships by their government or by public or private institutions. However, the current climate withing the European Unions has led to a reduction in the number of these scholarships. We are therefore requesting alumni to support a College Administration initiative to fund scholarships, so that future talented students can benefit, as many of you did, from subsidized studies.

This Scholarship Action Plan is supported by many alumni who have already participated in this plan so far.
Thanks to the efforts and the contributions of many alumni, several scholarships were attributed to College of Europe students over the recent academic years. They were/are financed by:

  • the Joseph Bech Promotion (the first promotion to create a scholarship): 5 scholarships;
  • The Scholarship Fund in honour of Rector H. Brugmans: 3 scholarships;
  • The Scholarship Fund in honour of Rector H. Brugmans – Churchill Promotion: 1 scholarship;
  • The Scholarship Fund in honour of Rector H. Brugmans - sponsored by Mr & Ms Roulet-Friedrich: 1 scholarship;
  • The Scholarship Fund in honour of Rector H. Brugmans - sponsored by Dr. E. Fossati: 1 scholarship;
  • The Coudenhove-Kalergi Promotion: 1 half scholarship;
  • The Giuseppe Mazzini Promotion: ½ scholarship;
  • The Aristide Briand Promotion: 2 half scholarships;
  • The A. Czartoryski Promotion: 1 half scholarship;
  • The Pieter Paul Rubens Promotion: 1 half scholarship;
  • The Salvador de Madariaga Promotion: 1 half scholarship;
  • The Jean Rey Promotion: 1 full & 1 half scholarship;
  • The Christopher Dawson Promotion: 1 half scholarship;
  • The Stefan Zweig Promotion: 1 half scholarship;
  • The Austrian Scholarship Fund: 1 half scholarship;
  • Michalski-Wardynski (Ms Vera & Mr Jan Michalski (+) - alumnus of the Paul Henri Spaak promotion - and Mr Tomasz Wardynski - alumnus of the Coudenhove-Kalergi promotion): 2 scholarships.

We would be grateful if you could participate in this action, enabling us to support financially some of the best students in their field.
