Students admitted to the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies should have an excellent university diploma, primarily in one of the following fields:
- Political Science
- International Relations
- European Studies
- Diplomatic Studies
- Law
- Economics
- Contemporary European history
Candidates may also be seconded from international organisations and national foreign services, provided they hold a university degree and have relevant professional experience.
Moreover, applicants must have a strong interest in specialising in the EU's external relations and should have some prior knowledge of the European Union's institutions and decision-making processes.
