XHANGO L. – German A1+ (55h)
The German language course aims to enable students to use the German language at the A1+ level by the end of the year, according to the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The course will focus on the following skills:
Basic Communication Skills:
- Develop the ability to understand and use everyday expressions and basic phrases aimed at meeting concrete needs (e.g., introducing oneself, asking and answering questions about personal details).
Listening Comprehension:
- Improve understanding of simple spoken German in familiar contexts such as personal information, shopping, and directions.
Speaking Proficiency:
- Gain confidence in engaging in basic conversations on familiar topics, including ordering in a café or restaurant, giving simple descriptions, and asking for assistance.
Reading Comprehension:
- Learn to read and understand short, simple texts such as menus, notices, advertisements, and personal letters.
Writing Skills:
- Write simple phrases and sentences about familiar topics like family, work, or immediate environment (e.g., writing short messages, filling out forms).
Grammar and Vocabulary:
- Acquire fundamental grammar rules (present tense, basic sentence structures) and vocabulary necessary for day-to-day conversations.
Cultural Awareness:
- Gain insights into German-speaking countries' cultures, customs, and traditions through language learning activities.
