The College of Europe Development Office organized, on 27 and 28 May 2020, a series of online courses for Mexican Diplomats of the Matías Romero Institute in the framework of the project “Policy and Outreach Partnership – Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean” led by Equinoccio.
The training sessions were launched with a high-level speech by Mr Javier Niño PÉREZ, Executive Director for the Americas at the European External Action Service, followed by opening remarks by Mr Alejandro ALDAY, Director of the Matías Romero Institute and Ms Sieglinde GSTÔHL, Director of the International Relations and Diplomacy Department of the College of Europe.
The trainers were Ms Carme COLOMINA, who taught an online session on the EU institutions and the Von der Leyen Commission priorities, and Ms Susanne GRATIUS, who led a three-hour session on the EU’s external policies and relations with foreign powers.
