The Internal Market class is a hybrid-class taught by four Professors, both in English and in French. It provides students with an in-depth knowledge of the law of the Internal Market within the European Union and of the law of Citizenship of the Union. It should serve as a basis for specialised legal practice or academic research in this area.
On completion of the course, the student will be expected to be able to discuss the broader legal context witin which the EU internal market is shaped and the current green, digital and geopolitical challenges for EU internal market law, the legal aspects of free movement of goods, persons, services, capital and payments, and Citizenship of the Union laid down in the provisions of the TFEY and in secondary Union legislation, in the light of the case-law of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Le cours est donc divisé en quatres parties, chacune traitant une liberté. les cours sur la libre circumation des marchandises (Prof. DE VRIES) et la citoyenneté européenne (Prof. SPAVENTA) sont dispensés en anglais, tandis que la libre circulation des capitaux (Prof. VAN WAEYENBERGE) et la libre prestation des services ainsi que la liberté d'établissement (Prof. STREHO) sont en français.
