College of Europe Development OfficeThe College of Europe Development Office is proud to share with you its last newsletter of 2020.

We are happy to announce that the College of Europe Development Office will be organizing two new executive courses in 2021: "European Defence & Security" and "Communicating the EU". The "European Defence & Security" course will analyse how the EU is boosting its ambitions, efforts and tools to address rapidly evolving security challenges both within the EU and outside its borders. "Communicating the EU" will focus on essential communication skills and know-how for professionals working in an EU environment. Would you like to be the first one to be informed once more the programmes are ready? Do not hesitate to let us know by filling in this form!

Next to these two new courses, the Intensive Seminar had some work done! Our three-week Full-immersion Programme (formerly known as Classic Programme) is specifically designed for people who consider themselves novices to EU politics and policies or who need a thorough freshening up after being absent from the scene for quite a while. The two-week Advanced Programme is a programme developed for professionals who want a full analysis of the EU’s internal and external policies as well as develop their professional skills through practice-oriented workshops. Our one-week Booster Programme (formerly known as Compact Programme) is developed for professionals who encounter the politics and policies of the European Union on a regular basis. Find here all the information on the 2021 edition of the Intensive Seminar.

The past few months The College of Europe Development Office successfully implemented several online training courses - such as Presentation Skills and Public Speaking training in French and Spanish for ILO ; Professional training in English and French for OCTA and EU scheme for young professionals in Bosnia and Herzegovina – and virtual events such as 21st Bruges Colloquium in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Online visit to the College of Europe organized for Russian researchers.

Next to this we are pleased to state various successful implementations of diplomatic training courses in Latin America: in collaboration with the EU Delegation to Chile, for Diplomats from Costa Rica of the Instituto Diplomático "Manuel María Peralta", the EU-funded project "EU Policy and Outreach Partnership – South America" in Argentina and a training course on the EU for young Peruvian diplomats.

Our 2021 executive training offer is ready and the Development office is looking forward to welcome each and every one of you for its executive training courses in a face to face format in Bruges!
