Admission to the European Legal Studies Programme

In addition to the general admission requirements of the College of Europe, students admitted to the Department of European Legal Studies in Bruges must hold a university degree in Law. Admission to the College of Europe requires either a Bologna Master's degree, or a pre-Bologna equivalent degree, or a final university degree that provides access to the legal profession and at least 240 ECTS credits acquired in the course of one's university studies. Equivalence will be determined on the basis of objective criteria.
Potential ELEA applicants in the Department of European Legal Studies shall hold a law degree diploma plus an internediate level of economics knowledge acquired via assessed University courses or post-graduate studies.

The Department of European Legal Studies also has specific language requirements.
